On The Mountain Top 2

Hello Everyone, how is summer holidays going? Mine was spent reflecting on priorities in my life and how the future will pan out. Today's look is inspired by a care-free sailor who is at sea and writing letters of his experiences to his Mrs back home. I added my flavor to this outfit by wearing those pair of nude sandals. This look is quite pulled together and can be worn for sunday brunch after service or a work meeting if, they heels are taken away and replaced with flats or work-appropriate shoes. I will like to see your feedback in the comment section and dont forget to interact with me on my social media handles at the bottom of this blog.

Summer Lookbook: On The Mountain Top

Hey everyone, how has the few months of summer been? tell me all about it in the comment section. I know i have not been consistent with my posts but please forgive me [*wink*wink* wide open cat eyes*]. Todays post is about seeing the greater picture in any situation you are in. I know sometimes, we need to be on top of things and when it is the other way round. We get frustrated or feel like a victim of a circumstance but always keep this in mind 'no situation lasts forever'. Like a friend said ''enjoy now and allow the future take care of itself''. This is the moral significance of this post. However, down to the fashion details, i love this neon yellow dress that is summer staple. It works like magic on my skin, the location was suggested to me by my very talented and amazing photographer Lydia, please if you have any wedding jobs for her, click here. Also, excuse my resty bitchy facial expression at the last picture of this photo, thats the face i give, when someone is trying me [*wink* wink*hahahahah*]I will like to know your thoughts in the comment section and dont forget to interact with me on my social media handles at the bottom of this blog.

THE CONTRAST

Hello Everyone, I have not been posting on this blog for the past four months. I faced a lot challenges early this year that made me to sit back and evaluate my priorities. I know alot of you have asked when next I will make a post but I was very busy. Recently, I am free to make more commitments to my blog. I will be posting quite often because am on holiday and I will keep my social media space updated. Also, I will like you watch the video, you will find it interesting and leave your helpful feedback in the comment section.

About the contrast: The contrast is focussed on bringing colour and vibrancy into your environment either in your outfits, personality and carriage. It is a cold world out there, its left for us to bring colour, warmth and vibrancy into the world so that other people could share in our warmth and energy.

Contemporary Edge

Hey Everyone, how has your week been? mine has been about getting my uni work together and all. Can you believe that I have not had time to put myself together and make notes on a series of thoughts I have about the beauty section of my blog? I know life has been a bit routined for me and I do not know what to do.

Today's post is about exploring the edgy side, am not one to wear a lot of edgy clothing but I like to step out of my comfort zone sometimes (*wink* wink*). I found this camel coloured leather skirt and I think its pretty trendy this ss14 and I paired it with a cheetah print crop top to compliment the look. I did not wear any jewelry if you notice because I did not want to do too much. I mean the outfit is already loud by itself, I accessorised with a fur hat and black leather boots. I actually wore this outfit to the mall in my local area and mehnn!!!! did I get a lot of stares.

Let me know what you think of this outfit in the comment section and dont forget to interact with me on my social media handles.

I recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!! [By the way MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY READERS]

Review on the Clinique CC cream

Hello Everyone, How has your week been? mine has been all about going to uni, getting work done and preparing for the holiday season. I find that most times I write, I reflect on the impact of uni work on my life but one positive impact is that I have gotten closer with friends and colleagues from Uni and its nice to know that you have people who give 2 British pounds about you. However, back to the topic on ground, I heard of this CC cream craze!!! from a friend at Uni, she had this very obvious dark under-eye circle and she got this product to treat this problem. I am telling you that, in a matter of two weeks this under-eye dark circle vanished and there was an even-toned skin in that eye area. Also, I recommended this product to my sister who had a similar problem and recently I have noticed positive changes in her under-eye area. It will be unfair of me not to speak about this product to you my readers and I will like you guys to leave your thoughts of this product in the comment section.

What Clinique says about Clinique CC cream

This product retails for £28 pounds from the Clinique counter in your local area and can be ordered online from stores such as: Debenhams,Clinique and All beauty.com. This product came in a pastel green rectangular box and a light tan tube as seen above. This product aims to correct redness, sallow, dry and ashy skin and has been dermatologically tested to detect various undertones of skin change. This product is oil free hydration and a sunscreen to protect the skin from sun radiations . Also, you will  have the flawless look after using this product.

What I say about Clinique CC cream

I got into the hype of BB creams and CC creams and to be honest, they are a breath of fresh air from the liquid foundations I have used over the years. This CC or BB creams are not suitable alternatives to foundations because they are not full coverage products but it  feels light on the skin.

This product is an amazing alternative to a primer, you can use this product on its own and you will have that no make but make up on look going on. Also, it being used under a foundation would help to correct any redness or sallowness or dark areas on your skin. Also, the product feels very light on the skin [ your face won't feel 5kg heavier]. Finally, for ladies who don't like going through the steps of using concealers-correctors-foundation just to achieve that flawless finish, this product will save you the steps and you will have the flawless look. I suggest the use of fingers to apply this product because the warmth of your skin [fingers] will blend the product properly on your face.

However, this product has its cons. Firstly, I personally think that it is too expensive for what it does but I guess it is a Clinique product and it ought to be expensive. Secondly, it doesn't have a wide variety of shades for women of colour and I personally think that, a beauty brand should make it their top priority to provide a variety of shades for women of colour. Finally, the product may not be suitable for people with oily skin.

I hope this review helps in your selection of beauty products. This particular review was a long-time coming but I have been busy with my preparations for the New Year. If you have any suggestions of beauty products you would like me to review please send me an email.

Thanks for reading and Happy New Year

Best Wishes,
Peace.

LookBook 2

Mismatched Prints

Hello my dear readers, how has your week been? mine has been great and hectic with uni work and moving around campus to get things done. I know I have been bugging your ears with how busy I am right now but I know I always have something to post for you guys.
One golden rule about matching print [even though, I am not a stylist] is that you should pair two prints that have the same colour but different pattern or the same pattern but different colours or the same pattern and colour but have different sizes of the pattern. Also, you could be safe and just wear the same pattern and colour.
I know this is a lot to take in but its the best way of matching prints and patterns. I will like to know your thoughts on this outfit in the comment section and dont forget to interact with me on my social media handles at the sidebar of this blog
